Year-Long Program for Self-Discovery

We’re conditioned to believe that happiness lies outside of us. But our real life begins when we look within and discover the truth: our happiness is in our own hands. Accepting that truth can be scary and takes us out of our comfort zone, but with the right support and trust in ourselves, we can move beyond our fears and discover our freedom has always been there.

The Magic Vision program is a year-long collaborative project on self-discovery, offering a supportive community of adults who are in stages of change (or wanting change) and self-growth after the many years of childhood, education, and the many tastes of adult life.

Buddhist teachers Alice Lieu and Niko Eng offer:

  • authentic meditation and yoga rooted in Tibetan Buddhist lineages, showing how ancient wisdom applies to modern life.

  • the true essence of meditation to gain insight into your mind, body, and energy.

  • practical ways to transform challenging habits—emotional, mental, physical, and behavioral.

  • a year-long personal & supportive space to really try something new, build confidence and deepen your practice from the ground up

With many creatives in the program, we encourage collaboration on projects across various mediums—film, music, crafts, culinary arts, and more. The group is a community of visionaries eager to share and explore new perspectives together.

Program Details

    • Join weekly virtual classes (75-90 minutes) offered at 2 times in the week (join 1 or both). Dates TBD.

    • Learn the fundamentals of Tibetan Yogic Practice and Theory through the accessible & complete healing practice, Tibetan Nejang Yoga

    • Practice Nejang yoga in a step-by-step way to attain mastery and gain deep, lasting benefits. This yoga allows you to enter a meditative state without having to sit on a cushion.

    • Learn & practice the essence of meditation. You’ll learn simple techniques to turn your mind towards awareness and presence. And through this, learn how to make decisions, short-term and long-term, from a place of clarity and wisdom.

    • Immerse yourself in a 5-7 day Tibetan yoga and meditation retreat held in Northern Calfiornia and/or New York City. (Note: certain sessions will be recorded for those who can’t attend)

    • Receive nourishing, Tibetan medicine-informed meals and comfortable lodging.

    • More details coming this fall.

  • In our weekly yoga/meditation classes:

    • Participate in guided, group discussions around meaningful life topics (i.e, relationships, career stagnation/transition, lifestyle, physical health, etc.)

    • Heal your fear or aversion towards others in this safe and conscious space. Discover a self you may never know if you’re always on your own or around the same people.

    • Collaborate on projects if your goals & interests align.

    • Maintain momentum and receive support in your practice with our daily, guided yoga/meditation sessions.

    • Receive live feedback as needed.

    • Note: We will determine the timing based on the ideal time for the majority of our members.

We invite anyone who is interested in collaborations, conversation, and discovery. Come join us from the end of September 2025-September 2026 (exact dates TBD). No experience in meditation or yoga required. Just openness, desire for growth, and a wish for magic in your life.
